The requirements for a St. Joseph by-the-Sea Diploma (with Advanced Regents Designation) are as follows:

• 4 years of Religious Studies
• 4 years of English with a passing grade in the Comprehensive English Regents Exam
• 4 years of Social Studies with a passing grade in both the U.S. History and Global Studies Regents Exams
• 4 years of Mathematics with a passing grade in both the Math A and Math B Regents Exams
• 3 years of Science with a passing grade in all required Science Regents Exams
• 3 years of Foreign Language with a passing grade in the Comprehensive Foreign Language Regents Exam
• 1/2 year of Health, Speech and Introduction to Law
• 1 year of Art and/or Music
• 4 years of Physical Education
