St. Joseph by-the-Sea Seniors got a surprised when their principal, Father Michael Reilly, and other staff members delivered signs to their front lawns.

The “We Love Our SEA-NIORS” Campaign was designed to show support for graduating seniors that aren’t able to have their traditional final semester in high school.

Fr. Reilly and other members of the school came together to hand deliver lawn signs to all 270 members of the senior class all across the island.

“We did this for our seniors because we want them to know that we’re thinking about them,” said Fr. Reilly. “I want the sign to be a visible symbol that our kids will get a graduation, their prom and everything else they deserve, and it’s not a matter of ‘if’ it will happen, it’s a matter of ‘when’ we will be able to do it. When they see that sign, I want it to remind them that we are committed to them.”
