Concert For Peace

You’re invited to an exclusive concert event being hosted by CNEWA and St. Joseph by-the-Sea High School on Wednesday, February 21st at 7PM.  Enjoy live performances from Father Vincent Capodanno Catholic Academy, Our Lady of Good Counsel, Our Lady Queen of Peace, Sacred Heart, Blessed Sacrament, St. Teresa-St. Rita STREAM Academy, St. Ann, Academy of St. Dorothy, St. Joseph Hill Academy, St. Charles as well as St. Joseph by-the-Sea’s Choir and Band as they tell the story of CNEWA through song and visual art.  Tickets and sponsorhsip are limited and may be purchased using our online box office or sponsorship form below.

For nearly 100 years, Catholic Near East Welfare Association has walked side by side with those in need. We have prayed with them when they were attacked, comforted them when they grieved, fed them when they hungered, bandaged them when they bled, sheltered them when they had no place to call home.

An initiative of the Holy See founded by Pope Pius XI in 1926, and guided by the archbishops of New York, CNEWA lives out Jesus’ great command to “love one another” by extending our hands and hearts to our neighbors in need, especially those in Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, Egypt, Eritrea, Ethiopia, India, Armenia, Georgia and Ukraine.
