Institute For Pre-Veterinarian Studies

Students who like animals will love our Institute for Pre-Veterinary Studies housed in our newly constructed zoo. The new facility features dozens of animals including birds, snakes, rabbits, turtles, and lizards.

The zoo has also been outfitted with the latest in animal care technology including climate control and maintenance devices. Students are instructed in animal anatomy while caring for our collection of animals, and in addition to hands on learning they have the oportunity to expand their learning through a partnership with the Staten Island Zoo.
